Bereits bei der Anfahrt zum Einsatzort war das in Flammen stehende Geb\u00e4ude sichtbar. Rasch wurden die ersten Atemschutztrupps zu den L\u00f6scharbeiten losgeschickt. Die daf\u00fcr notwendige L\u00f6schwasserversorgung erfolgte direkt aus der angrenzenden Donau, das erwies sich sehr vorteilhaft. Denn aufgrund der schwierigen Lage konnten sich die Einsatzfahrzeuge kaum bewegen. Auch der angrenzende Wald war gef\u00e4hrdet.<br \/><br \/>Sobald der Brand in einem kontrollierten Ausma\u00df war, wurde zudem das Dach durch Abdecken ge\u00f6ffnet, um die Flammen besser von au\u00dfen bek\u00e4mpfen zu k\u00f6nnen. Schlie\u00dflich konnte am 25. August um 00:31 Uhr \u201eBrand aus\u201c vermeldet werden. Personen wurden nicht verletzt, aber Teile des Geb\u00e4udes wurden schwer besch\u00e4digt.<\/p><p>Mehrere weitere Stunden waren die Einsatzkr\u00e4fte der FF Neustadtl zur Brandsicherheitswache vor
